About
On Electric

On Electric is a boutique electrical contractor for luxury custom homes in the Fraser Valley and Greater Vancouver.

We bring decades of experience on the kinds of projects where the electrical is never an afterthought — large custom estates, architecturally significant builds, and homes where the technology has to disappear into the design. We started On Electric to do that work the right way, without compromise.

Our team is small by design. We work with a tight group of builders and designers, most of whom came through the network. We’re not chasing volume. The work is the point.

If you’ve been referred to us, you already have a sense of what we do. If you’re here for the first time, start with our projects.

What We Do

We design and install custom lighting from the ground up — fixture specification, layout, controls integration. We coordinate directly with interior designers to achieve design intent, not approximate it.

Lighting That Disappears
Into the Design

Complete electrical installations for new custom builds and renovations. We work from our own pre-construction drawings, not just the architect's plans, so the install reflects every scope decision made before the walls closed.

Electrical Installations

We design and install Lutron lighting control systems — from basic dimming to full HomeWorks QSX — as part of the electrical scope. No separate contractor, no coordination gap between wiring and programming.

Lighting Control

We handle the electrical scope for standby generator installations — service sizing, transfer switch, connection to distribution. Gas line and concrete pad by others.

Backup Generators

We've been designing and installing exterior and landscape lighting for over fifteen years. Hardscape, softscape, driveways, water features — we carry the full scope from design through installation, coordinating with landscape architects and designers where needed.

Landscape Lighting

Before construction starts, we produce detailed drawings that our builders and designers can actually use — zone schedules, circuit layouts, reflected ceiling plan overlays, and equipment diagrams. It's not standard practice in this industry. For us, it's how every project begins.

Pre-Construction Documentation

From distribution design and lighting control to landscape lighting and pre-construction documentation, we handle the full electrical scope on complex custom residential projects — and we get involved early enough to do it right.
